How to improve the printing quality of optical 3D printer? At present, the most popular on the market is 3D printer, which can create high-quality prototypes, fine features and complex shapes.
However, because you are not familiar with slicing and printing techniques, the model may also be very rough in the process of 3D printing. In fact, the quality of 3D printing is closely related to equipment, materials and slices. We can improve the quality of 3D printing by adjusting parameters
Now let's talk about how to set parameters for reference only.
a. Exposure time: exposure time refers to the exposure time of the light source required for each layer during printing. The time required for curing is often very different for different resins.
The general exposure time is 6 seconds. For many resins, this exposure time is OK. Of course, this parameter also needs to be adjusted according to the resin characteristics.
b. Lifting speed: the lifting speed refers to the speed at which the forming platform lifts from the chute when printing the layer.
The general lifting speed is 65 mm / min. When adjusting the lifting speed, both printing quality and printing time should be taken into account.
c. Layer thickness: layer thickness refers to the thickness of each layer when the model is solidified. The layer thickness affects not only the printing speed (printing time), but also the printing quality.
The minimum layer thickness that the 3D printer can print is 25 µ m (0.025mm) and the maximum is 100 µ m (0.1mm). Set according to the actual situation of the printer.
d. Model placement: different model placement positions also have a great impact on the print quality. The sudden increase of the model structure from a small cross-sectional area to a large cross-section will lead to drastic volume changes between layers,
The drastic change of resin volume between layers will lead to uneven shrinkage of solidified layers. The printing platform must be leveled.
e. Slicing setting: slicing refers to exporting the model format with software, and the machine can recognize and display the graphics of each layer in the printing process. Therefore, each layer has a thickness, and the thickness of each layer can be modified in the parameter setting,
The larger the layer thickness setting, the more obvious the layer pattern will appear. Obvious step patterns can be seen in some curved positions. After the model is printed, it will be different from the solid size and the surface will be rough.
